Dun & Bradstreet adds D&B.AI credit analysis to Finance Analytics

Dun & Bradstreet launched AI capabilities in D&B Finance Analytics and via MCP that it says speed credit analysis by up to 30 to 40 percent.

Dun & Bradstreet announced new D&B.AI capabilities for finance and credit teams on September 24, 2026. According to the release, the capabilities are available now within the D&B Finance Analytics platform and through the company's Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, where they work with Anthropic's Claude, OpenAI's ChatGPT and Codex, Microsoft Copilot and Databricks. Users can access company research, risk analysis and guidance, identity verification, and portfolio management and monitoring through a conversational agent embedded in Finance Analytics. The company says the capabilities draw on its D&B Commercial Graph, anchored by the D-U-N-S Number, to keep outputs consistent, traceable and auditable.

The details

  • Dun & Bradstreet says organizations using the capabilities have seen credit analysis and research accelerated by up to 30% to 40%, measured against industry benchmarks.
  • The company also cites credit losses reduced by up to 20% to 25% and growth opportunities increased by up to 10% to 15%.
  • MCP integration with Gemini Enterprise is planned.
  • Scott Spencer, general manager of finance and credit, is quoted in the release.
  • Users can build custom agentic workflows by extending D&B credit intelligence into AI platforms and enterprise applications through MCP.
