Cvent completes its acquisition of ON24
Cvent closed its acquisition of ON24 and said it plans to keep investing in the ON24 webinar and digital engagement platform.
Cvent announced on April 1, 2026 that it had completed its acquisition of ON24, adding ON24's webinar and digital engagement platform to its meetings, events and hospitality technology portfolio. According to Cvent, the deal advances its plan to digitize the Total Event Program, a single connected platform for in-person, hybrid, virtual and webinar formats, so organizations can capture and activate first-party data across event types. Cvent says it will continue to invest in ON24 with a focus on AI and enterprise-grade reliability and compliance, and that ON24 customers can expect the same experience. ON24 had agreed to the all-cash deal, valued at about $400 million, in December 2025.
