Wellington led the round, with participation from Sequoia, Stepstone, a16z perennial, Meritech, DST, CapitalG, BoxGroup, Boldstart, Bloomberg Beta and Evolution. Clay says revenue grew four times in 2025 and that it has more than 17,000 customers. The post says the round supports its goal of building a self-learning revenue engine, without a breakdown of how the funds will be used.
The details

- Clay describes its system as unifying CRM, product usage, engagement and external signals into a shared view of the market.
Context
The raise came amid a run of Clay releases in our coverage: Audiences in June, Clay MCP general availability in six AI tools in July, a Workflows beta and new Clay Ads destinations in August, and Sequencer general availability on September 1. In October Clay previewed agent-led building and an Inbound SDR Agent at Sculpt 2026 and named HG Insights its Data Partner of the Year. Author Kareem Amin wrote, "The better a company gets at learning, the faster it grows."
