Clay announced three items at its Sculpt 2026 conference in San Francisco, summarized in an October 8, 2026 post. Agent-first building lets a user request an outcome while an agent plans, runs and improves the play using Knowledge Hub context on ICP, personas and positioning. Clay Workflows, in beta for all users, is set to launch fully this fall. An Inbound SDR Agent that qualifies leads by voice and demos the product in a sandbox is in preview with a partner waitlist.

The details

  • Agent-first building was available to Sculpt attendees first, with early access users to follow in the coming weeks.
  • Clay can schedule the agent to check back on a play and recommend changes.
  • Workflows is a visual canvas where steps can branch, loop, run code or call an agent, and results write back to Audiences.
  • The Inbound SDR Agent learns from existing call recordings of top sellers along with ICP and business context in Clay.
  • Clay reports 2,000 attendees from 30 countries at Sculpt.

Context

Sculpt followed a run of Clay releases in our coverage: Clay MCP general availability in six AI tools in July 2026, new Clay Ads destinations in August, the Workflows beta on August 11, Sequencer general availability on September 1 and a $115M Series D at a $7.1B valuation on September 9. Clay held its first Data Partner Awards on October 22.
