Clay launched Audiences on June 23, 2026, a data layer that removes the previous 50,000-record limit of Clay tables and supports unlimited people and company search. Users can import millions of records from a CRM or data warehouse, enrich them with first- and third-party data and reuse stored enrichments across campaigns so credits are not spent twice. Audiences update as data changes and can trigger ads, outbound email, direct mail, sequencer pushes and CRM updates.
The details
- Clay automatically searches for new matching accounts and contacts and enriches them as they are found.
- Records sync back to the CRM continuously with field-level rules: write if empty, always write or never write.
- Enterprise plans refresh new CRM data every 15 minutes.
- Audiences is included on Launch, Growth and Enterprise plans and on the free trial, while legacy plan customers contact their Growth Strategist.
- Clay says a CRM of more than 1 million records previously needed 20 or more tables.
Context
Audiences became the base for several later Clay releases. Clay MCP reached general availability on July 14 with functions that write to Audiences, Clay Ads added new destinations for audiences on August 4, and Workflows opened in beta on August 11 to run plays on live audience segments. In September Clay made its Sequencer cold email product generally available and raised a $115M Series D at a $7.1B valuation.
