Relevance AI releases a new version of its Invent builder assistant

Relevance AI released a new Invent assistant that can create and edit agents, tools, workforces, triggers and evals inside a project.

Relevance AI released a new version of Invent, the built-in assistant in its agent-building platform, on September 3, 2026. According to the changelog, Invent can now create and edit Agents, Tools, Workforces, Knowledge tables, Triggers and Evals, run tasks and pull analytics, with context over everything in a project. It can be opened from a badge on the right edge of the screen, a button on the Home page or the left navigation menu.

The details

  • Invent is enabled per project by an organization admin under Settings, Projects, Manage settings.
  • Documentation is published under Build with Invent.
  • The changelog entry does not state plan requirements or credit costs for Invent.

Context

Earlier 2026 changelog entries show related platform work. On June 29 Relevance AI added cost breakdowns to Eval runs and began evaluating multi-agent Workforce runs, which our coverage recorded. On July 22 it gave admins concurrency visibility on the Analytics page, including queued runs, live slot counts and a per-project capacity breakdown. On June 12 it added Google's Gemini 3.5 Flash as a selectable model.

Not disclosed

  • Plan availability
  • Credit or action costs for Invent
