Reachdesk published details of Reachdesk MCP on September 25, 2026. The connector lets users of AI assistants search campaigns and the Reachdesk Global Gifting Marketplace, prepare personalized sends for approval, and pull data on sends, spend and adoption. The post names Claude and ChatGPT as examples and says any MCP-enabled assistant can connect. Access is through early access for current customers only, and setup takes about three minutes with an MCP URL from a Reachdesk admin.
The details
- Every send shows a preview of recipient, gift and cost and requires explicit confirmation.
- Admins set each tool to run automatically, ask first or be disabled on the connector's tool permissions screen.
- Users act within their existing Reachdesk role permissions, and the connection works across a team once configured.
- The post gives a budget alert example of an 80% threshold on a $250 quarterly team budget delivered to Slack.
- Eligible sends can be cancelled within the platform's cancellation window from the assistant or in Reachdesk.
Context
Reachdesk's MCP follows similar connectors from other gifting vendors in our coverage. Goody launched a self-serve gifting MCP for Claude, ChatGPT and other AI clients on June 25, 2026, and Sendoso opened a request-based beta of its MCP server in June, then added it as an action in Databricks in September. Reachdesk describes CRM, calendar and sequencing tools as places where the assistant can draw context, without naming formal integrations. The post states "Nothing is ever sent automatically."
