Mistral releases Agentic Search for multi-step enterprise document retrieval
Mistral released Agentic Search, a retrieval layer that lets models search, open, navigate, read and verify long documents without fine-tuning. It is available through the Mistral Search Toolkit and built into Studio and Vibe.

What we are seeing
Mistral announced Agentic Search on August 20 for enterprises working with sensitive, domain-specific material such as financial filings, legal contracts and internal records. It sits on an existing search index and gives models five tools: search, open, navigate, read and grep. Mistral says it supports isolation boundaries in cloud or on-premises deployments and requires no fine-tuning. It is offered through the Mistral Search Toolkit for use in customers' own agents and workflows, and is built into Libraries in Studio and Vibe. Mistral reports FinanceBench correctness rising from 26.7 to 86 percent in its own baseline tests. Pricing is not stated.
