Mistral releases Mistral Large 4 in public preview on its API
Mistral launched a public preview of Mistral Large 4, a multimodal model with 1 trillion total parameters, through Mistral Studio. API pricing is $0.70 per million input tokens and $2.10 per million output tokens.

What we are seeing
Mistral announced Mistral Large 4 on October 6 as its largest model to date, with 1 trillion parameters and 52 billion active. The company highlights coding, agentic workflows, cybersecurity and multimodal understanding, citing its own benchmark results. The preview is available through Mistral Studio as mistral-large-4, priced at $0.70 per million input tokens, $0.07 for cached input and $2.10 per million output tokens. Mistral planned to release open weights by the end of October for self-deployment, including private cloud and on-premises use. Customers can customize it through Mistral Forge. A European deployment is operated end to end by Mistral. Le Chat availability is not mentioned.
