What we are seeing

Mistral announced the Cloudera partnership on September 10. Mistral's models will integrate with Cloudera's hybrid data platform so joint customers can run inference in private or public clouds, on premises or in fully air-gapped environments. The partnership also covers custom model training on large volumes of proprietary data in controlled environments, with customers keeping ownership of the data and the resulting models. The companies target large enterprises in regulated sectors such as financial services, manufacturing and telecommunications, and cite the 30 exabytes of customer data on Cloudera's platform. The announcement does not give a release date, rollout timeline or pricing.
