What we are seeing
Mistral announced the infrastructure updates on August 11. Regional Endpoints, now generally available, let customers choose whether inference runs in Europe or the US for data residency, regulatory and latency needs, with limited sub-processor transfers described in its Trust Center. Priority Tier, in public preview, adds custom rate limits and an uptime SLA for critical workloads. The platform will also host third-party open models, starting with Z.ai's GLM-5.2, under the same regional controls. Mistral is forming a coalition of enterprises making multi-year compute commitments through European Compute Units. Amadeus, ASML, Capgemini and CMA CGM endorsed the plans. Pricing is not stated.
