What we are seeing
Microsoft's Microsoft 365 Copilot release notes dated October 27, covering October 13 to 27, say admins can now create and deploy custom MCP connectors across Microsoft 365 to bring custom data into Copilot. Connector results in Search now show entity cards. Work IQ APIs moved to usage-based billing, so developers can call them without pre-assigned licenses and pay per request, and a new endpoint gives programmatic access to first-party and tenant-defined declarative agents. The release also adds a Canva connector for Researcher, a Learning Agent and new Copilot usage metrics in Insights. In September, Microsoft made federated real-time MCP Copilot connectors generally available. Per-request rates are not stated.
