What we are seeing

Google Cloud announced on October 21 that OpenAI models are rolling out in private preview to select enterprise customers through Model Garden and Google's APIs. Named models are GPT-6 Astra, GPT-6.1 Sol and GPT-6 Luna. Google says it is now the only hyperscale cloud offering all three leading closed model families, plus more than 200 other models. The models are transacted through Google Cloud Marketplace, appear on one Google Cloud invoice and draw down existing commitments. Google says prompts and outputs stay in the customer's data perimeter. Zero data retention and confidential compute are listed as coming soon, as is availability in Gemini for business.
