G2 announced that its G2 Community, a curated peer space for customer, demand gen, growth and product marketers who use G2 in their go-to-market work, is now open to applications from the broader G2 customer base. In a post by Charlie Albuery, customer community and education manager, G2 says the community launched with a founding class and is now extending invitations for the first time. The post describes four pillars: networking with peers, showcasing customer brands, training on the G2 platform and best practices, and direct input into what G2 builds next. G2 says the community does not replace account teams and is not a support channel.

The details

  • The four pillars are named Find your people, Take the mic, Level up and Shape what's next.
  • Founding members come from companies including PandaDoc, Snaplogic, Samsara, ActiveCampaign, TeamViewer and Contentstack.
  • Members get exclusive resources and early access to upcoming G2 features, according to the post.
  • Customers can nominate themselves or a colleague.

Context

This is the only G2 customer program item in our coverage, which otherwise tracks G2 data and product releases such as the MCP server (March 2026) and Intent Studio beta (June 2026). Two days later, on September 10, G2 announced its role in the Data agent in ChatGPT Work, followed by G2 Audiences, the Clay partnership and the Snowflake partnership through October 12.

Not disclosed

  • Selection criteria for applicants
  • Whether membership carries any cost
