G2 announced a partnership with Clay on October 9, 2026 that brings G2 insights into Clay's GTM platform. According to a post by Christine Li, VP of global partnerships and data solutions, Clay users can access G2 verified reviews, category taxonomy, market intelligence and Market Signals directly inside Clay using Clay credits, with no separate G2 subscription, setup or connector required. Market Signals identifies companies actively researching solutions in a given software category. G2 says teams with an active G2 Buyer Intent subscription can bring that data into Clay at no additional cost.

The details

  • Data available in Clay: verified reviews, category taxonomy, market intelligence and Market Signals.
  • Access is billed through Clay credits and does not require a G2 subscription.
  • Buyer Intent subscribers can bring their own G2 intent data into Clay at no added cost, including products evaluated, competitors researched and buying stage.
  • G2 lists enrichment, segmentation and prioritization in existing Clay workflows as uses.
  • Gillian James, head of data partnerships at Clay, is quoted, and says Clay's marketplace includes more than 200 data providers.

Context

This is the first of two G2 data distribution partnerships in our coverage in October 2026; G2 became a Snowflake Data Partner three days later, on October 12. Earlier steps include G2 data in the ChatGPT Work Data agent (September 10) and G2 Audiences for paid media (September 23). G2 launched an MCP server in March 2026.

Not disclosed

  • Clay credit cost per G2 data point
  • Refresh frequency of Market Signals in Clay
