Storylane's changelog entry for December 27, 2025 introduced A/B testing for interactive demos, available from the Growth plan. Users create an A/B test, with Variant A selected automatically and Variant B chosen by the user; Storylane recommends duplicating the original demo and editing it to create Variant B. Users set a traffic split, which runs automatically on the existing demo link, then track performance and conversions in one place and roll out the winning version. The changelog lists example experiments, including gated versus ungated demos and use-case versus feature-first walkthroughs. The same entry added full-screen capture and video recording to the Storylane Windows app.
The details
- Availability: Growth plan and above.
- Traffic is split automatically on the existing demo link.
- Example tests: lead form versus no lead form, short versus long demo, early versus late CTA, and use-case versus feature-first intro.
- Performance and conversions for both variants are tracked in one view.
- The Windows app gained full-screen capture and video recording.
