Storylane's April 14, 2026 changelog introduced Deal Intelligence, a feature that connects demo engagement to deals in HubSpot or Salesforce. According to the release notes, users can see which demos were viewed for each deal, who watched them, for how long and when, and how engagement looked before and after a deal closed. The company says the feature can also flag high-intent buyers based on behavior and attribute pipeline to a specific demo, giving the example "This demo influenced $50K in pipeline." The same release expanded what Storylane tracks in HubSpot and added cut and paste for demo steps across chapters and demos.
The details
- Deal Intelligence connects demo engagement data to HubSpot or Salesforce deal records.
- Per-deal views show which demos were viewed, who watched, watch duration and timing, and engagement before and after close.
- The HubSpot integration now tracks Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and webhook activity.
- Demo steps can be cut using a shortcut or right-click and pasted into another chapter or demo.
- Storylane says a new editor experience is automatically available to free and starter users while it continues development.
Context
This is the earliest Storylane release in our coverage. Later updates added chat, voice and video modes to the RepX sales agent (May 26, 2026), an MCP server and multi-language demos (August 12, 2026), and Ask AI for plain-language questions on demo analytics (October 22, 2026). Deal Intelligence is the first of these to tie demo activity to CRM deal records.
