Storylane adds a rep activity leaderboard and expands presenter mode for live demos

Storylane released a User activity leaderboard, an updated presenter mode and guides on video steps on March 21, 2026. The leaderboard ranks users by views, leads, accounts, time and links and supports a drill-down into each rep. Presenter mode moved into the Share flow and separates the viewer's screen from the presenter's notes. Video steps can now carry tooltips, hotspots and CTAs. The entry repeated that the new editor was on for free users and optional for Starter users.

The details

  • User activity ranks reps by views, leads, accounts, time and links, with dynamic sorting.
  • Each rep's performance can be opened in a detailed view.
  • Presenter mode hides guide text from viewers and shows private sales notes to the presenter.
  • Presenters can add per-step notes, an optional colored pointer and keyboard navigation.
  • Tooltips, hotspots and CTAs can be placed on video steps.

Context

Storylane improved presenter mode navigation and performance in an October 27, 2025 update, and this release moves the mode into the Share flow. The leaderboard follows the intent scoring dashboard released on November 15, 2025. On June 12, 2026 Storylane added a chapter and step navigator to presenter notes, and on April 14, 2026 it added Deal Intelligence.

Not disclosed

  • Which roles can view the User activity leaderboard.
  • Whether leaderboard data can be exported or sent to a CRM.
  • Which plans include presenter mode.
