Navattic makes Copilot capture editing available and adds AI visibility for embeds
Navattic's September 2026 changelog moves Copilot capture editing out of beta for Base plans and above and adds an AI visibility setting that writes a plain-text walkthrough of embedded demos into the embed code.
Navattic published its September 2026 product updates. Alongside The Brain for Navattic Agents, the changelog states that Copilot capture editing is live: users describe a change and Copilot applies it across the whole capture, for tasks such as removing several elements, running a find-and-replace on text or rebranding colors. A new AI visibility toggle in embed settings has Copilot generate a plain-text walkthrough of a demo inside the embed code so that AI crawlers and search engines can read it. The release also covers theme editing inside the demo builder, Ask Navattic on analytics pages, and image uploads through the MCP server.
The details
- Copilot capture editing is available on the Base plan and above and works alongside the inline capture editor.
- AI visibility text is hidden from visitors but stays in the raw HTML; the demo must be published before the toggle is turned on.
- A theme drawer in the demo builder edits accent, text and background colors, font style and corner radius, and can extract brand colors from a website or app URL.
- Ask Navattic now has an input on the Analytics and Conversations pages that carries the filters already applied on the page.
- The MCP server can upload PNG, JPEG, GIF and WebP files as media captures, up to 50 files per call and 18.5 MB per file; video is not supported over MCP.
Context
Navattic launched Navattic Agents in March 2026, let agents write qualification answers to CRM properties in June, and added the AskNavattic assistant and embeddable agents in July. The Brain knowledge layer, already covered, shipped in the same September release. Copilot capture editing appeared as a beta for Base plans and above in the August 2026 changelog before this general release.
