Gong previews Gong Activate always-on agents at Celebrate '26
At its Celebrate '26 conference Gong described Gong Activate, always-on agents that evaluate accounts and deals, alongside Agent Builder triggers and customer results.
At Celebrate '26, announced on September 30, 2026 from Las Vegas and San Francisco, Gong introduced Gong Activate, which it describes as the next generation of its Revenue AI. In Gong's description, always-on agents evaluate every account, opportunity and revenue play, generate recommended plans, and feed measured outcomes back into the Gong Revenue Graph. The release describes Activate in future tense and gives no availability date. Gong also highlighted Agent Builder and Deep Mode.
The details
- Agent Builder lets teams create custom agents that run on defined events or conditions, or describe the agent in natural language.
- Deep Mode is an agent within Gong Assistant for questions that previously required hours of manual research.
- Gong cites AT&T Business reporting a 54% improvement in rep productivity.
- Gong says Cisco has deployed 18,000 licenses and that early-adopting Cisco teams report about 32% larger deals and 26% higher win rates.
- Experian reported a 25% lift in win rates after consolidating a division onto the platform, according to Gong.
Context
Activate was announced alongside Mission Callisto, which made Gong Enrich and Deep Mode generally available the same day. In our coverage, Gong launched Mission Big Dipper with Revenue Harness and Custom Agents in June 2026. Gong says the Revenue Graph captures buyer personas, competitive positioning and the strategies of top reps. Anthropic, Snowflake and Thomson Reuters also appeared on stage, without stated results.
