Goldcast launches Live Run of Show for event producers

Goldcast's Live Run of Show lets producers share slides, run polls, play videos, move speakers and change layouts from one tab.

On November 3, 2025, Goldcast posted an update introducing Live Run of Show, a producer view for live events. The company says producers can share slides, open and share polls, play a ticker, send saved chat messages, move speakers on and off stage, play videos and change layouts, all within a single tab inside Goldcast. Goldcast says the feature lets producers focus on delivering the event instead of working from separate documents to track what goes live next. The update is categorized under event management and event experience.

The details

  • All live controls sit in one tab inside Goldcast.
  • Supported actions: share slides, open and share polls, play a ticker and send saved chat messages.
  • Producers can move speakers on and off stage, play videos and change layouts.
  • The feature replaces separate run-of-show documents during live sessions, the company says.

Context

This is the earliest Goldcast story in our coverage. Goldcast followed it in November 2025 with the Agentic Video Editor (November 5), team-level integration accounts and Video GEO (November 24), ahead of Cvent's December 15, 2025 acquisition announcement. Live production features continued with dynamic stage layouts for live events on August 16, 2026.

Not disclosed

  • Which Goldcast plans include Live Run of Show
  • Whether multiple producers can use the view at once
  • Whether a run of show can be prebuilt and reused across events
