Goldcast adds bulk clip downloads, 5-second skip and new templates in Content Lab
Goldcast says Content Lab users can now download or delete multiple clips at once, skip five seconds in the video editor, use a simplified upload flow, and build clips from new presets with improved caption styling.
On October 12, 2026, Goldcast published a product update titled "Editing updates to help you go from event to content faster." The update covers four changes to Content Lab, the company's video editing and repurposing product. Users can select multiple clips and download or delete them in one action. The video editor adds a five-second skip forward and backward. Goldcast says the upload experience in Content Lab is faster and more flexible. Clip templates get new presets, improved caption styling and more accurate thumbnails. The update was posted on the same day as a separate Content Lab release on speaker layouts.
The details
- Bulk downloads and deletes: multiple clips in Content Lab can be selected and downloaded or deleted at once.
- 5-second skip: the video editor can jump forward or backward by five seconds.
- Simplified uploads: Goldcast describes a faster, more flexible upload experience in Content Lab.
- Better templates: new presets, improved caption styling and more accurate thumbnails for on-brand clips.
- The post is tagged Event Management and Content Creation.
Context
The update is one of two Content Lab releases Goldcast posted on October 12, 2026. The other applied speaker layouts to full-length videos and added automatic screen share detection. In September 2026, Goldcast began applying source or Brand Kit branding to AI-generated clips automatically, and in July 2026 it centralized fonts, colors, logos and brand voice in one hub. Earlier in 2026 it added dynamic stage layouts for live events and automated Salesforce campaign creation from event templates.
