Goldcast applies source or Brand Kit branding to AI-generated clips automatically
Goldcast's AI-generated clips now inherit branding from their source video, or from the Brand Kit when the source has none.
Goldcast's update dated September 20, 2026 says AI-generated clips in Content Lab now automatically inherit branding from their source. Sources include an event recording, a Recording Studio session or an uploaded video. When no branding is available from the source, Content Lab applies the brand elements from the workspace Brand Kit. Goldcast says the change reduces manual editing and produces on-brand content without extra steps when turning recordings into clips.
The details
- Branding is inherited from event recordings, Recording Studio sessions and uploads.
- The Brand Kit serves as the fallback when a source has no branding.
- Content Lab is described on Goldcast's site as a way to repurpose a video library into clips, blogs and social posts.
- The update does not state plan availability or pricing.
Context
In our coverage, Goldcast automated Salesforce campaign creation from event templates in June 2026 and added dynamic stage layouts for live events in August. The September change applies to the post-event content side of the product, where Content Lab turns recordings into clips and other assets. Livestorm, also covered here, acquired AI clipping company Qlip and announced AI Studio in June 2026. The Goldcast update page links to an index of other recent updates without naming them.
