Goldcast automates Salesforce campaign creation from event templates

Goldcast now clones and links the matching Salesforce campaign automatically when an event is created from a template.

Goldcast's changelog for June 8, 2026 describes automated Salesforce campaign creation for events. When a user creates an event from a template, Goldcast clones the Salesforce campaign attached to that template and links the copy to the new event. The update removes the manual step of creating and connecting a Salesforce campaign for each event, which the company says lets teams run repeatable events at scale.

The details

  • The automation triggers when an event is created from a template.
  • Goldcast clones the template's Salesforce campaign and links it to the new event automatically.
  • The update is filed under the Event Management and Integrations categories.
  • The changelog does not list settings, prerequisites or plan availability.

Context

The update arrived six days after Goldcast added attendee emoji reactions for live events. Goldcast has been part of Cvent since the December 2025 acquisition and continues to publish its own product changelog. Later releases in our coverage focused on live and video features: dynamic stage layouts for live events in August 2026 and automatic source or Brand Kit branding on AI-generated clips in September 2026. The Salesforce automation is one of the integration-focused entries in that period and applies to teams that track event programs as Salesforce campaigns.
