Cvent unveils a new brand identity at Cvent CONNECT 2026
Cvent introduced a new brand identity and brand promise at its CONNECT conference, framed around live events as a source of audience trust.
Cvent unveiled a new brand identity on July 14, 2026 at Cvent CONNECT, its annual industry and customer conference in Nashville. The company framed the change around a market view it calls the Presence Premium, the rising value of human connection as AI makes content and outreach easy to scale and audiences grow more skeptical. Cvent cites a figure that 98% of marketers and event professionals say in-person and community events are central to their marketing strategy. The company backed the brand launch with plans to invest more than $1 billion in technology, AI and product development, which it describes as the largest investment of its kind in its history.
The details
- Cvent CONNECT 2026 drew nearly 5,000 attendees onsite in Nashville, with thousands more online, according to the company.
- Separate Cvent research fielded by Censuswide found 85% of respondents say AI-generated content has made trust harder to build, and 81% said audience trust increased after an in-person event.
- Cvent says it has powered more than eight million events and connects nearly 340,000 venues and more than 150,000 planners.
- The company reports more than $20 billion in annual sourcing volume through its ecosystem.
- Cvent launched the Cvent Center for Event Insights, a research arm focused on events, hospitality and technology.
- CEO Reggie Aggarwal and CMO Amy Lucia are quoted in the release.
Context
The brand launch was announced the same day as more than 70 product updates and the $1 billion R&D plan presented at CONNECT. It follows Cvent's acquisitions of Goldcast in December 2025 and of webinar platform ON24, which closed on April 1, 2026, and SITE naming Cvent its official event technology partner through 2028 in January.
