Cvent acquires Goldcast to combine event management and video content
Cvent announced the acquisition of Goldcast, the video content platform for B2B webinars and events.
On December 15, 2025, Goldcast published on its press page the announcement that Cvent, a meetings, events and hospitality technology provider, had acquired the company. The release says the combination will let marketing teams turn live event moments into on-brand clips, summaries and recaps and bring event management, engagement analytics and video creation into one place. It says marketers can run webinars and events and then repurpose that footage across web, email, social and sales channels. Cvent cites about 30,000 customers and enterprise relationships that it says will extend Goldcast's reach. Goldcast co-founder and CEO Palash Soni said Cvent's customer base gives the company a foundation to accelerate product work.
