What we are seeing
xAI announced Grok Bot on August 11 after using it as an internal prototype. Bots have their own computer in the cloud, sign into existing tools and work across apps, inboxes and websites, including platforms without an API or MCP server, according to the company. Users message them like colleagues, and Bots remember conversations and preferences. xAI gives internal examples of a sales Bot updating the CRM from call notes and drafting follow-ups, and an operations Bot processing invoices from Gmail. The launch page offers a macOS download and a sales contact. Grok Bot reached more plans on August 26 and enterprises on September 3. Pricing is not stated.
