xAI releases Grok 4.7 for coding and knowledge work at Grok 4.6 prices
xAI released Grok 4.7, which it describes as its most capable model for coding and knowledge work. It is priced from $2 per million input tokens and $6 per million output tokens.

What we are seeing
xAI announced Grok 4.7 on September 21, built on a new, larger base model than Grok 4.6 and trained with a longer reinforcement learning run, according to the company. xAI says it works longer on difficult tasks and checks its own work more carefully, and reports its results on CursorBench 4.0. It is served at the same price and speed as Grok 4.6, starting at $2 per million input tokens and $6 per million output tokens, with a fast variant at twice the speed and price. Grok 4.7 is available in Cursor, Grok Build, the Grok API, third-party coding tools, model routers and cloud platforms.
