Perplexity lets Enterprise admins control connector access by role
Perplexity gave admins on sales-assisted Enterprise plans control over which roles can use each connector. New connectors start disabled until an admin enables them, and changes are recorded in audit logs.

What we are seeing
Perplexity's changelog entry dated October 19 adds role-based connector access for sales-assisted Enterprise plans. Admins can make each connector available to all members, admins only or selected custom roles. New connectors start disabled until an admin turns them on for specific roles, while existing access stays as it was until changed. Perplexity says access is enforced across the product and that enables, disables and role changes appear in the organization's audit logs. The same release introduced the Decisions API for classifying and scoring text, JSON and images, offered through the API or as downloadable open weights, and Ultrafast models in Computer. Pricing for the connector controls is not stated.
