What we are seeing
Perplexity's changelog entry dated November 6 introduces Agent Plugins, which the company describes as an open, vendor-neutral standard for packaging skills and connectors. Users can install plugins from Discover, import compatible plugins from public GitHub repositories or upload a zip file. Plugins are available on individual plans and Self-Serve Enterprise. Admins on sales-assisted Enterprise plans can opt in to early access and choose which roles can add plugins and use their connectors. The release also lets admins set default effort, maximum effort and maximum speed for Computer by role, and adds @mentions for tagging colleagues into threads on Perplexity Enterprise. Pricing is not stated.
