What we are seeing

Cohere announced on October 15 that it signed a letter of intent to acquire AISLE, founded in 2024, which the company says found more than 500 vulnerabilities with assigned CVEs across over 100 codebases in its first year. AISLE's founders would take roles as head of a new Cohere Cyber unit, chief information security officer and vice president of AI security, and Cohere plans a long-term investment in Prague. Cohere says security is central to enterprise AI adoption and expects the deal to strengthen threat detection, agent governance and secure private, on-premises and air-gapped deployments. Financial terms were not disclosed, and the deal had not closed.
