What we are seeing
OpenAI said on October 28 that it is expanding the partnership with ServiceNow announced in January. A new integration brings ServiceNow records and workflow actions into ChatGPT, with ServiceNow's Action Fabric applying each customer's business rules and permissions. Planned work includes Codex in ServiceNow's AI Workflow Factory, a joint cybersecurity offering and an OpenAI-powered voice experience. ServiceNow plans to give all employees ChatGPT Work and Codex. According to OpenAI, the ServiceNow MCP plugin is available today, voice is expected in the first quarter of 2027, security capabilities enter early access in January 2027 and Codex in AI Workflow Factory is expected in 2027.
