What we are seeing
OpenAI's release notes for September 10 introduce the Data plugin for ChatGPT Work and Codex. Users can ask a business question, investigate a change in a metric, or create an interactive dashboard or report, then refine the analysis with follow-ups and bring in their team's metric definitions. Members start with @Data. Administrators review its installation policy in Workspace settings under Plugins and can manage access by role or group. Data-source plugins and their apps may need separate setup, and connected account permissions and workspace controls apply. The release does not state pricing beyond existing plan usage.
