What we are seeing
Glean announced the agent updates at Glean:GO in a post updated August 26. Independent agents can own a workflow with their own identity and provisioned access, build memory of procedures and bring in a person only for decisions; new examples cover on-call, voice-of-the-customer synthesis and sales. Agent identity, in public beta, lets agents act with scoped credentials across more than a dozen tools. Builders gain coding-tool authoring, Git sync, checkpoints and Agent2Agent interoperability. Agent evals are in private beta, and agent scanning in beta flags issues such as over-provisioned write tools before publishing. Admins can scope access, behavior and usage policies to groups. Pricing is not stated.
